Our Standard narrow- boat spec
Shell 18” Draft
- Hull & cabin steelwork Bottom plts & counter 10mm. Hull side’s 6mm. Cabin side & roof 4 mm with 75mm curvature.
- Knees & stringers 60 x 60 x 6mm. 620mm centers.
- Cabin framing 25 x 25 x 5mm angle full length off sides.
- Cabin roof 25 x 50 Channel 610mm centers
- Diesel tank integral 35 gallons (approx) pressure tested & fitted with brass filler cap & vent.
- Water tank 1.5mm stainless steel 120 gallons (approx) fitted under self-draining front well.
- Gas locker forward locker of a size to contain to 2 13kg gas canisters.
- Rubbing strakes 50 x 12 S.E.H.R. fully welded.
- Rudder & tiller 38mm dia balanced blade top bearing mount.
- Weed hatch signal locking bolt quick release type.
- Sundries 2 stern dollies & 1 bow tee.
- The hull will be painted with a bitumen based paint to the rubbing strakes all other surfaces will be primed.
- Apertures e.g Windows , ports holes & vent cut to customers speck

- As above plus Engine fitted with a beta marine (alternative engines can be quoted for & fitted) e.g. 45 ft narrow boat would be fitted with a Beta Green line 38 cooled engine PRM 120 2:1 gear box, control panel with tachometer & audible alarm, key switch push button stop, warning lights for low oil pressure, high water temperature & no-charge light. (up grades on panel can be quoted for). Also included 40 & 70 amp alternators, starter batteries, 30” shaft with weld in stern tube, 3 bladed prop to suit & a single lever control side mount.
- Ballast & floor will be concrete paving slabs placed under floor which consists of 18mm plywood laid on 25 x 75mm bearers.
